Hair Mineral Analysis is a very effective tool to help understand your state of health and how to make improvements. The science of Hair Mineral Analysis is very well developed. Research has been ongoing for over 40 years. Technologically advanced Mass Spectrometry analyses a small sample of hair at a molecular level. Because hair grows slowly, the results are a good representation of your mineral levels over time.
Our simple home test is easy to use, and results are sent via email.
The Hair Mineral Mass Spectrometry testing results are tabulated in graphical form and displayed in a detailed report. Levels of key minerals such as Calcium and Magnesium are shown as well as important trace minerals such as Molybdenum and Boron. Also of great importance is the detection of any toxic heavy metals such as lead and mercury. We are all exposed to these, and unfortunately, they can accumulate to toxic effects. The ratios between certain minerals are very significant and tell us a lot about your state of health. Your oxidative rate and thyroid and glandular health are reviewed in relation to the results. The report has 40+ pages of vital information.

The wealth of information you gain through Hair Mineral Analysis is very exciting, but can also be daunting and sometimes scary! Most reports will find mineral traces and balances outside of ideal ranges and many of us will have some detectable heavy metals. Fortunately, clear advice is included in the report on how to make things better. Advice is given on:
Note that this is based upon years of research and is not as simple as replacing minerals that are low. In fact, it has been found that such a simplistic approach does not work. This is because the way minerals interact with the body and with each other is highly complex. Only by applying the laboratory’s knowledge and experience is an effective supplementation programme derived.
There is a limitless amount of health advice out there, and so many opinions about what is ‘good for health’ or ‘bad for health’. The fact is, everyone is different and has different needs. Without testing, you are left guessing at what you need to make health improvements.
Using Hair Mineral Analysis, your needs are scientifically established and acted upon. It is recommended you retest after 3 months of following the recommendations, so you can monitor your progress and make adjustments as required.
Remedios Health is affiliated with one of the leading Mineral Hair Analysis Laboratory’s in the world, based in the USA. This lab recognises that hair remineralises after washing. For this reason, unlike most other labs, they do not wash the hair samples prior to testing. This gives a more relevant result. Their expertise in this field means they produce an exceptional and informative report. Furthermore, they recommend and supply high-grade supplements to help support health and correct imbalances.
Our Practitioner, Natalie, is a qualified Health & Wellness Coach and Registered Homeopath and is available for Consultation bookings if you want support in actioning your new health plan.
1. You receive a kit in the post with clear and easy instructions.
2. Wash your hair and then wait at least 4 hours prior to taking the sample for it to remineralise.
3. Take a small sample, using clean scissors, from the back of your head and nape of neck. You only want to use the 4cm closest to your scalp. The kit comes with a mini seesaw scale made out of cardboard that is used to measure when you have obtained the required amount of hair.
4. Package it up along with the form in the addressed envelope supplied and despatch via international tracked post to our lab in the USA (postage not included).
Wait for your results! These will be emailed to you approximately 3 weeks from posting.
Semi-permanent hair dyes are okay a few weeks after use. Permanent dyes can seriously skew the test results, so permanently dyed hair should not be used. You may wish to consider growing a section out. Pubic hair can be used if undyed head hair is not available
