A Metabolic Balance plan is based on each person's 36 blood markers, food preferences, health conditions, medications and measurements. Why? Because all these factors have a bearing on how your body interacts with the food you eat.
The plan is implemented in four stages; these cleverly build upon one another to allow you to reach your goals and understand how to make the dietary choices to support your health. Every person's plan is unique.
Two days of light simple meals alongside gentle cleansing are used to prime your body for the metabolic reset to come and to assist with digestive cleansing and detoxification.
This phase lasts at least two weeks and consists of 3 wholesome meals every day. Each meal is carefully constructed to improve your metabolism and to replenish any depletions in nutrient status that have been detected. This strict adjustment phase helps to shift old unwanted habits, such as the need to snack or binge and slowly detoxifies the body whilst adjusting your metabolism. To do this, strenuous exercise is not recommended for the first 16 days as the body becomes ‘metabolically agile’, allowing it to efficiently burn both glucose and fat. Phase 3 starts to relax the rules and foods not on your plan are reintroduced carefully. Yes absolutely. Sessions can be carried out remotely or in person at 10A High Street, Dronfield, S18 1PY, Derbyshire. Natalie encourages clients to visit in person if convenient, at least for the first session, so that physical measurements can be taken and the client can benefit from a complementary Bio-Well Assessment, however, this is not essential.
This programme is not for everyone. It requires a high level of commitment, for example, alcohol is not included for the first 16 days and then only infrequently permitted going forward. In the early stages, sugar and refined carbohydrates will be completely removed from the diet. For many, it is a big adjustment requiring a firm commitment. However, the benefits are often life-changing!
